South Ireland 3-Day Tour

Thanks for Jesus' secrefice and realive. I had four days off at the Easter holiday.
Since it wad a long holiday, i decided to go away from Dublin amd go to the south part of Ireland.
Galway is really breathtaking.
I specially love seating on the ground and have a sun bath.
Kiss the most dirty stone isn't so mind bowing. It actuallt quit interesting. Even i think Blarney Castle does so hard on their marketing. Yoy might think kissing a stone is as easy as pie, but it can just make it more difficult that you would not beleive.
It was a long queue to wait for kissing the stone. (yet the stone has a magic power that once u kiss it, u would get a gift of being eloquent for 7 years. Why is only seven years, un..i don't know)
Cliff of Morris is where my camara cannot catch the beaity of it. Only through my eyes and remember its beautiful face.

Easter Eggs

I've heard my friend said Haagen-Dazs is on sale at Tesco. So i went there n i saw a easter chocolate egg whose box has 1D(One Direction) printed on.

I know they are very popular in Europe, but i have never thought it is that popular O_o

Even before that i had also seen a tooth paste that was also printed 1D on it

Don't take it personally, but i really had myself in stitches. LOL

For all the 1D die-hard fans, give u my respects.

OMG, It's Haven

Today, I just have a taste of haven and it is twice!

The gelato on the Hanery Street is so delicious.

The hot chocolate at the Cocia Atelier near the Grafton Street is awesome.

They are like the food from God. I m almost crying for having them.

Usually, most tourist s will go shopping on the Grafton and Hanery Street. They are the main street for shopping ad you can find most of big brand there. But I would like to recommend that why not go to some small alleys n maybe you will find something more surprising u, just like me today :)

I enjoyed my city exploring very much.
Cheers

Company Visit, IBM

This is the first time we have a company visit. I felt like we were elementary students going field trip.

IBM in Dublin

Thanks for Frank Lu that gave us thorough presentation and also invited the marketing manager, Rory Caron, to have a inspired n interesting lecture

Latet, we went back to Skylon Hotel to have lunch.
It is nice that all my classmates love the food there. I am proud of being one of the staff at Dublin Skylon Hotel :)

I love all of u, my dear. xoxo

April Shower

People are talking about having Monday Blue, but, for me, Monday means that I could have delicious food at the hotel. Please allow me to share our Classic Breakfast meun:

Porridge with yummy toppings (brown sugar, honey, golden syrup)

Traditional Irish Breakfast, which includes back bacon, Irish sausage, scrambled/poached/boiled/fried eggs, grilled tomato, fried masrooms, black n white puddings.

And so many delicious food.
Why I know? Cause this is the benfit of working at hotel(^o^)
Hope our chief would think I am work to "eat". LOL

Today, I decided to take a walk to home. The weather is kind of fool me around. The reason why I said so is because I have took my umbrella in n out several times. The sky was dark, but suddenly turning to blue. Come on~ what is going on.

In Taiwan, people said the weather is like stepmother in April. I share the same feeling here.

City Exploring♥

Saturday~, Tample Bar Food Market is where you can have some deliciou food n meet local farmers. I love local markets so much.
As its location is withen the Tample Bar area, there are some must-see tourist attractions, such as the Wall of Fame, Molly Malone statue, Trinity College, etc.

Sunday, my friends and I decided to visit Guinness Storehouse.
We had so much fun.
One complimentary pint of Guinness will be included in the ticket.
You could make a pint of Guinness by yourself. Cause I had heard that you can have you beer wotj a shamrock, so I asked the waiter if my Guinness could have one. (The pic above is not so clear but it is there!)

The pic I love most is the one below
I took this at the Gravity Bar on the 7th floor. The bar has a panoramic vew and , luckily, the weather is so nice so we can see very clear of the city.
Finally, at the end of tje tour, I left a message on the We Love Guinness All Around the World, hoping if somrone also from Taiwan will see it :)

TGIF

What a beautiful day it is.
It is sunny outside n so warm.
Is that me bring the sun from Taiwan to here? LOL
And you see the sky.
Can't beleive that how blue the sky is.
No doubt, such a nice weather makes everyone on the street smiling.

Today is an exciting day cause I just start to work with our marketing plans. After meeting with Shane, my mentor, and Dee, we got lots of great ideas
, and it has also been a very productive day!

Awesome

All of these brochures above were brought from the Dublin Skylon Hotel.
There are lots of resources for no matter u are on a business trip or traveling.
I would like to visit all of these during the internship here in Dublin.
It gotta be great great great .

Cheers

Day at the Dublin Skylon Hotel

April 3, 2014

This is our fine self service breakfast area.

We got fresh juice and milk, flakes and fruit salad.

And if our guests would like a traditional Irish breakfast, surely no problem~

This lovely gentleman with great smile is Dave, who would like to serve u to kick off a day.

This is our Bar area. After the noon, it becomes extremely busy. I mean super busy, really.

You will see me walk back and forth several times

This is our reception desk. There scones, muffins, and cookies served for our guests. This is my lunch and it is super delicious. Irish sausage, cabbage and curry with a slice of toast. God, I felt relived again after this morning.

Now, I would like to introduce these lovely and absolutely gorgeous sisters, Tara and Deirdre. Tara is in charge of bar area, and Deirdre is for the marketing.

I would have to say I mix them up. I keep talking with Deirdre say I need to find "her" first before I went upstairs. (cause I thought she is Tara)

Kay, my colleague, and Deirdre just gave me a confusing look, like we couldn't get it. LOL

But they just shared with that one colleague from China also cannot recognize them even after six months there. It's so funny, I meant myself who is keeping doing something stupid.

Great to meet all of them and I can't wait for exciting marketing work here. Start to kick the social networks marketing! Yeah~

Cheers!

Have You Met Brian (He is the Boss Here)

Aprial 1, 2014

"Have you met Brian"
This is a friendly greeting opening.
But it just made me embarrassed later on.
The thing is that I was around the bar with Toni
A gentleman just came n asked for lunch
BUT BUT it's my first day of work, i even haven't looked the menu yet
Okey, fine, no excuses
I know the owner of the chain hotel called Brain, but never thought we will meet so quick
He told about himself used to be a football player
(FYI, here is the link of him, Brian McEniff )

Make the story short, I didn't recognize him 'till Toni told me he is the boss.
At that moment, I really want to find a gun and put the trigger.

kill me, please. I m so embarrassed.

The Best Way to Commute from Homestay to Work is by BUS

April 2, 2014

My homestay is very closed to bus stops.
I can take bus 41, 41c, 16 to my work place n even a shopping mall nearby, called Omni.
It was around 20-30 min. It depends on whether it is raining or not.
Like today, it took longer than I thought.
I almost late for my work.

Not good >.<

It's the second day of my work.
From time to time, I've to pop up to the bar ad restaurant area cause during the dining time there was crazy.
I could see Toni (Later i would put her photo on n introduce her to u, officially, no worries) walking back and forth from bar to tables.
I like here so much!
Irish are truly friendly.

Kiss

Good Morning! It's the First Day in Dublin

March 31, 2014 Monday

This pic was took at our opening ceremony of the internship in Dublin.
Nice to see everyone :) (except few classmates who couldn't make it)

I start to write a diary everyday in Dublin!
The life here will be valuable to everyone n I don't want to waste it.
So probably the best way is to write down things here.

Wait for everything settles down n I could have more time on this :)

Finally
Very look forward to working at the Dublin Skylon Hotel!
